I want to create a vibe of lightness and warmth, as if you were visiting an old friend whom you could listen to for hours. I really want Ukrainian winemaking to have a place where the community of its fans can find all the answers to their questions – what wine to choose, how and which wineries to visit, where to learn more about Ukrainian wines, buy wines that you can’t find anywhere else and other specialities produced by Ukrainian farmers.

Since 2014, I have been developing Ukrainian wines and making them popular. I organise the largest festival of Ukrainian wines, Kyiv Food and Wine Festival. I am the author of the book ‘The Untold Story of Ukrainian Winemaking’ (Ukraïner) and the Uwines Ambassadors game, the owner of Uwines Media, the initiator of Kyiv Streets Wine, and co-founder of Wines of Ukraine.
I was in the restaurant business with Like a Local’s from 2016-2022, so now the creation of Uwines bar & shop can be considered my return to business.
